Everything Old is New Again

This clients house was the most rewarding job I've done to date. A very busy, young family that wanted their house to reflect some personality, some character.  The catch here was that while I had a few months to shop, prepare and line up contractors, I had just 4 weeks to put it all together-while they were out of the country. They wanted to come home to a Grand Reveal just like those you see on TV.
This meant lining up and organizing contractors, giving each one a strict timeframe so that the next contractor could come in and complete their portion of the job. All it would take was for one trade to mess this up and the rest would fall like dominoes.  Unfortunately the first trade in did exactly that. But we rallied, the rest of the trades stepped up and the job was finished on time.

The end result? Outstanding! The couples reaction?  Well they said they finally felt like they lived in a 'grown up house' .

Full House Remodel

I have known Sean for many years, he'd been in all 3 of my homes over a 20 year period loving each and every one. He wanted an update to his family home, something to be "house proud" of when entertaining for both himself and his almost adult children while also increasing the value of the home for resale value down the road. The catch? The house was in Montreal, I lived North of Toronto. Having me travel back & forth was financially not an option for Sean, this is where technology stepped in. Through live video chats, still shots, emails & phone calls, over the course of a few months we were able to transfer Sean's house into a home he loved . I still have not stepped foot in his house ! Hopefully one day I will.

Front Entrance & Second Story Remodel

Slate floors were jackhammered out & replaced with hardwood floors, existing hardwood floors, railings and stairs were sanded and restrained throughout the house. Molding and paint colour and Ta Da!!
