This clients house was the most rewarding job I've done to date. A very busy, young family that wanted their house to reflect some personality, some character. The catch here was that while I had a few months to shop, prepare and line up contractors, I had just 4 weeks to put it all together-while they were out of the country. They wanted to come home to a Grand Reveal just like those you see on TV.
This meant lining up and organizing contractors, giving each one a strict timeframe so that the next contractor could come in and complete their portion of the job. All it would take was for one trade to mess this up and the rest would fall like dominoes. Unfortunately the first trade in did exactly that. But we rallied, the rest of the trades stepped up and the job was finished on time.
The end result? Outstanding! The couples reaction? Well they said they finally felt like they lived in a 'grown up house' .
